On one side, we design, place and manage short-term insurance programmes that protect what our clients have built. On the other, we help them raise the debt and equity that funds what comes next. Since 2018 we have grown to serve major corporate clients, including a JSE-listed international logistics group and a leading pharmaceutical contract manufacturer. Our leadership brings more than 60 years of combined insurance experience, and the relationships formed over that time give our clients access to leading local and international insurance markets, including specialist underwriters for complex risks. We remain deliberately boutique, so every client deals directly with people who understand their business and can make decisions.”

Established in 2018, First 23rd Group (Pty) Ltd is a Johannesburg-based, 100% black woman-owned financial services group with Level 1 B-BBEE status. We operate a two-pronged business: short-term insurance and capital raising.
Our focus is practical. We put solutions in place that protect your operations, improve how risk is managed across your business, and give you access to the capital you need to grow. Where a client needs a capability outside our own licence, our collaborations with other authorised financial services providers allow us to deliver the full spectrum of financial services.
We are deliberately boutique and nimble. Every client relationship is built around what that client actually needs, not around a product we happen to sell.
